Default Courier Scam Warning

With thanks from Debbie at Dagmar Couriers;

Could you please warn all couriers that there is a scam going on. It is as follows: someone will ring saying they are from either marks and spencers or wh smith. Saying could you go to Watford way in hendon london and pick up a software Cd that is needed urgently. Courier company has not picked it up they say its fed ex and that without it they cant update the tills. You are told that Watford way is on a red route so no stopping. If you pull into Vivian Ave and ring him he will arrange for the packet to be brought to you. When you are over half way there he rings again saying that the card machine is broken and could you pay for the item in cash which he will reimburse as soon as you drop of the packet with him at the store. He wont be there and once he has rung to say that he has had a call to say you have paid and picked it up he says he will see you later and wishes you a safe journey. Please dont do it. If you have done this and fallen victim to this man who calls himself paul reynolds and andy John and many other names his phone is then off and you cant reach him. Dont please dont do it, I lost £170 it really does sound plauisble. If you have been scammed by the Hendon conman please I urge you to report it to PC Jacqui Jacks collar number 759sx phone 020 8733 4131 the net is closing in. Last year he scammed over 50 companies and thats only the ones who have reported it. Please help this catch this scumbag and send him where he belongs prison. Safe driving everyone
