Adding a signature into your profile makes it easy for people to contact you.
We want you to add a signature to your profile, this signature is where you can include all of contact details, and any other information that you think will help people to contact you.
Adding a signature is very easy. For anyone not familiar with the forums here is a quick how-to.
- Select User CP, from the forum menu bar above.
- From the menu bar on the left hand side, in the third section down, first option, click on the link to Edit Signature.
- Type in here the information you want to include in your signature. Please include here any standing information that you think will help other couriers contact you, for example landline numbers, mobile numbers, even your address.
- You can change the size of the font, the colours, etc.
- To insert a link to a website then please type the text you want to link with (ie the name of your business), highlight it using the mouse, select the small button in the control panel along the top that has a picture of a globe with a link (second line, third from the right), and in the pop up box type the URL of the page you want to link to, type the www. bit after the "http://" included in the popup box.
- To insert an email link, then as above type text and highlight it, then press the small button that has a page/envelope on it (second row, last button on the right), and in the pop up box type the email address that you want the message to be delivered to.
- You have up to 7 lines to include your information
When you include a weblink like this in your signature, all of the readers can simply click on it and it will take them straight through to your website. Your signature will now appear automatically at the bottom of each and post that you make on this noticeboard. Free advertising
